Sainsbury’s offers standard and platinum credit cards issued by MasterCard. The cards offer low introductory balance transfer rates and a variable low APR, but the main benefit of the cards is that you can earn money off your shop every time you use the card. There are no annual fees and automatic emergency medical and legal assistance abroad is included within the perks of the card.

i wouldn’t recommend Sainsbury’s to anybody and am currently in the process of closing both my accounts with them. Aside from their poor customer service, and organisation skills, i believe this bank does not see you as an individual customer. therefore there are plenty more superior banks out there who would be grateful of your custom.

I would definitely NOT recommend anyone have a Sainsburys credit card, their service is shockingly bad and I believe that if they were audited by the FSA the FSA would find that their data protection is extremely poor. It seems easy to be a victim of fraud if you have one of these cards.
